Vanessa igbokwe

Conference Co-Chair

Vanessa is a junior in Wharton, majoring in Business Analytics and Strategic Management. On campus, Vanessa is the VP of Recruitment of BlackGenCapital, mentor for STEP and Wharton Cohorts, a member of WAVe, and works at The Daily Pennsylvanian. Vanessa is from Houston, Texas and enjoys watching basketball, finding new food spots, and creative writing.

Ebun Ajao

Conference Co-Chair

Ebun is a sophomore in Wharton studying Behavioral Economics and Finance. Outside of Black Wharton, she’s also the social chair of Wharton STEP. Ebun is from Houston, Texas and enjoys reading a book, going to the gym, or cheffing it up in the the kitchen!

Marketing Chair

Bijon is a junior in Wharton studying Strategic Management. Outside of Black Wharton, Bijon is a director of SPEC-TRUM, a mento for Wharton STEP, and events chair of SOHHL. Hailing from Hartford, Connecticut, Bijon enjoys biking, finding new food spots, and art museums.

Logistics Chair

Dasmine is a junior in the College, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies and History. She is the Community Service Chair of the Caribbean-American Student Association (CASA) and the NAACP. Dasmine is also a Teaching Assistant for Legal Studies 6120! She was born and raised in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and enjoys dancing with WAVe and singing gospel with New Spirit of Penn. Fun fact, she was formerly a BILB Ambassador!

School Liasison Chair

Alexa is a sophomore in the College, majoring in Health and Societies. She is the Marketing Chair for West African Vibe (WAVe) and the Secretary for Nigerians at Penn (NAP). Alexa is from the Bronx, Ny and spends her free time cooking or hanging out with her friends.

Special Events Chair

Cormari is a sophomore in Wharton studying Finance and Real Estate. She is on the General Ledger Committee at the Student Federal Credit Union on campus and also helps to teach personal finance to high school students through the Wharton Global Youth Program. Cormari is originally from Chicago, where she found her love for Chicago-style pizza, music festivals/concerts, and traveling!

olubukola alliyu

Speaker Acqusition Chair

Olubukola is a sophmore in the College of Arts and Science, majoring in Computer Science and International Relations. She is the Internal Affairs Director of Nigerians at Penn(NAP) and the Social Chair of West African Vibe (WAVe). Olubukola is from Philly and enjoys watching UK YouTubers, jamming to afrobeats, and finding good eats.
