Planning For The Conference
Boarding & Travel
Students who do not attend Penn and wish to attend the conference will have the opportunity to be hosted by current Penn students. Student hosts will be available to all attendees. Any and all travel expenses to and from the conference will be the sole responsibility of the conference attendee.
There is no dress code for Friday, October 4th; come as you are. However, all conference attendees are expected to wear business formal on Saturday, October 5th. The dress code for the Black Ivy Reception on the evening of October 5th is cocktail dress. On Sunday, October 6th, show your school spirit with your ivy’s logo attire. The dress code will be strictly enforced and those in violation of it will be refused entrance.
The Black Ivy League Business Conference will offer unrivaled and unique opportunities for undergraduate students within the Ivy League to engage in networking, both with similarly interested peers and established professionals within the business world. In addition to various breakout sessions and industry specific panels, the conference will also feature a Student Innovation Lunch & Learn and a Career Fair. The conference will then culminate with the Black Ivy Reception.
The Career Fair is an event in which successful Black professionals will have the opportunity to share the details and opportunities of their work with conference attendees. This showcase will expose students to new potential career paths and interesting Black professionals in their local communities.
Black Ivy Reception
The Black Ivy League Business Conference will conclude with a new, revamped Black Ivy Reception hosted by the Black Wharton Undergraduate Association. The reception will be held at Distrito from 7:45 PM to 10:00 PM.
